History of Amber Fort -
Established by a series of Rajput kings in Jaipur, Amber Fort was earlier used to be the capital of their dynasty. The castle slowly and eventually turned out to be grand and beautiful, many additions were made during the different reigns of every king. Its opulent architecture is in the classical Hindu style with great ramparts, several giant gates, and cobbled pathways. The castle has also been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the list of popular Hill Forts of Rajasthan which is well-maintained to date.

The Amber Fort Light and Sound Show start every day in the evening at Kesar Kyari Garden situated on Maota Lake. This 52 minutes show of colorful lights illuminates the entire structure and reflects beautifully on Maota Lake with the mystical past of the Amber Fort dating 600 years back.

During the show, it gets extremely cold, as you are seated outside with water surrounding you. Photography and videography are prohibited during the show. It is suggested to reach the location 25 minutes before being seated properly and to enjoy the rest of the show.
