Tour itinerary in detail:

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

As you arrive in Delhi airport, meet our representative with a ply card of your name. He will assist you to the vehicle and transfer to the pre-booked hotel for checking and relax. After freshening up, proceed for a local sightseeing tour of Delhi covering Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, Safdarjung’s Tomb, India Gate, and Birla Temple. Finally take a drop to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Delhi sightseeing tour

Today after breakfast, start a sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit the famous tourist attractions of the city. Visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. Later, visit the Rajghat, Parliament house, President house, and Lotus temple. Thereafter, you will be dropped back at the hotel followed by an overnight stay.

Day 3: Agra transfer & sightseeing

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and start a journey toward Agra through Yamuna expressway. Complete check in formalities in the hotel and relax. After a few hours, embark on a visit to Agra Fort, Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, and Mehtab Bagh. In the evening explore the local markets to shop traditional items. Stay overnight.

Day 4: Jaipur transfer & sightseeing

Wake up refreshed in the morning and proceed for a road trip to Jaipur – the UNESCO World Heritage Site in India. Before that you can opt for a sunrise tour of Taj Mahal. Afterward, continue a drive to Jaipur. On your way, embark on a visit to Fatehpur Sikri & Abhaneri Village. On reaching Jaipur by late evening, check in to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 5: Jaipur sightseeing tour

Today, you will be exploring the major historic landmarks of the city where you can take a look back to the glorious past of bygone era. Start your local sightseeing tour of Jaipur by visiting the famous UNESCO World Heritage site in Rajasthan – Amber Fort and Palace. After spending 2 or 3 hrs. at the fort, drive past Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal where you can take a halt for a photography session. Next visit City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Albert Hall Museum, etc. Afterward, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 6: Amritsar (overnight train)

The sixth day of this tour is planned for a half-day shopping tour of Jaipur. After breakfast meet our representative and then visit the local markets to buy various traditional souvenirs. There are many shopping places in Jaipur, Johari Bazaar, Mirza Ismail Road, Nehru Market, etc. Afterward, return to the hotel to check out and leave for a drive to Jaipur railway station. Board an overnight train to Amritsar.

Day 7: Amritsar arrival & sightseeing tour

After reaching the city, check in to the hotel and freshen up. Then start the day with a spiritual visit to famous Golden Temple of Amritsar. The historic Sikh pilgrimage shrine is constructed around a manmade sacred pool, where its architecture reflected in night beautifully. This is also known as Shri Harmandir Sahib. At the corner of the gurudwara, visit the Sikh museum and RamghariaBunga. Afterward, visit the Jallianwala Bagh which has preserved the past of Jallianwala massacre in 1919. Later, head to Wagah Border to watch evening parade. While on the go, try out some traditional cuisine like Amritsari kulcha, Cholepuri, pinni, makke di roti, sarson da saag, makhni daal, and lassi. Afterward, you will be dropped back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure from Delhi

On the last day of this tour, get ready with your luggage and check out. Explore both old and new markets in Amritsar to buy Punjabi souvenirs. There are many precious and semi-precious jewelry items, traditional phulkari textiles, hand woven carpets, blankets, juttis, and more.
