Day 1: Jaipur Arrival & Pre-Production

Tour representatives at Jaipur International Airport warmly greet you and begin your filmmaking odyssey. Travellers will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. After getting fa reshen-up, a pre-production meeting is held during the day. The tour guide and local filmmaker will sit with you and discuss everything, review the safety measures, and discuss the creative possibilities. They will be spending the evening relaxing during the tour. Have a scheduled dinner when you interact with other participants and exchange information.

Day 2: Jaipur Scouting & Locations

Photography and scouting at some of the most famous and scenic locations in Jaipur begin the day. Explore the peaceful Jal Mahal, the iconic Hawa Mahal and the stunning Amber Fort. These attractions create a rich and magnificent fabric for your photos by admirably balancing elaborate details with grand structures. The primary agenda of the day is to learn how to best utilize the natural light in different situations. You will be taught how to stage images that tell a story and capture the royal history of the city. The day is an experiential exposure to shooting in an old urban environment.

Day 3: Jodhpur Transfer

Get transferred to Jodhpur, also known as the “Blue City,” after an early breakfast. This road trip presents a transition from the urban to desert climate. Upon arrival, travellers will check into the hotel. Take a short trip through the narrow, winding streets of the old city in the afternoon. The vibrant blue houses offer you photographs a unique backdrop and strong contrast. You will rehearse spontaneous street scenes, portraits of locals and a lively play of light and sound show. The evening is a hands-on review and editing session for the day’s film.

Day 4: Jodhpur Tour

Shooting in the breathtaking views of Mehrangarh Fort in the early morning. With its enormous walls and stunning architecture, the fort offers a range of perspectives and angles to shoot dramatic photos. Focus on capturing the grandeur of the fort, its intricate carvings and the sweeping views of the blue city. Travellers will be going to a desert settlement near Jodhpur in the afternoon. The locatio,n with its focus on getting the real lives of the local and the pure beauty of the desert landscape, will be a practice shooting area for more extreme and rustic settings.

Day 5: Jaisalmer Transfer

As travellers venture off into the Thar Desert on their journey to Jaisalmer, the Golden City. You’ll be assigned to a desert camp upon arrival. The afternoon location scouting session, from the close-ups of the sandy terrain to sweeping panoramas. Add a camel safari to provide your video with a more natural touch. Day 6: Jaisalmer Tour

Capture the life within this live fort, the day begins with a shoot within the Jaisalmer Fort. There are innumerable possibilities of cinematic storytelling in the old havelis, bustling bazaars and twisted roads. Take an afternoon excursion to a nearby oasis that is a unique location offering a stark contrast to the surrounding desert. The opportunity to shoot under unique aspects, including water, foliage and reflections. A bonfire and screening of the desert-shoot video, highlighting color grading and desert-suited editing techniques, will conclude the day.

Day 7: Tribal Village Life

The essence of tribal life is on the list of your final day of shoot. Travellers will have the opportunity to interact with the individuals and video their daily activities, customs and traditions. There’s a chance to capture authentic experiences and raw emotions to convey a human story. You can share your project with the group and receive a last-minute critique during the farewell dinner. Your creative and learning achievements can be summarized in this session.

Day 8: Departure

Followed by a final breakfast, you’ll be driven to Jaisalmer Airport for your onward travel, with your equipment plus a portfolio of incredible photographs and plenty of hands-on experience.
